The Rich Township Raptors (Olympia Fields, IL) volleyball overcame the visiting Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL), 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

The Raptors (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Thornwood (South Holland, IL). The Thunderbirds enter the Southland contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Thornwood notched a victory over Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.

The Steelmen now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plainfield South for a Southwest Prairie battle on Thursday, September 18.
