The Saginaw Rough Riders football team (Saginaw, TX), was ripped 66-14 in Friday's league challenge with the host Brewer Bears (Fort Worth, TX)

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Crowley Eagles (Crowley, TX) in a 5A-1 Region I District 3 bout, on Friday, September 24. Brewer will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 49-28 league loss to Granbury (Granbury, TX).

The Rough Riders (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Azle (Azle, TX). The Hornets enter the 5A-1 Region I District 3 bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Azle walloped Arlington Heights (Fort Worth, TX), 36-13, in a league bout.
