In Friday's league game, the Memphis Central Warriors (Memphis, TN) football team were victorious over the host Brighton Cardinals (Brighton, TN), by a score of 57-38.

The Warriors (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Southwind (Memphis, TN). The Jaguars come into the 5A Region 8 game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Southwind was knocked off by Dyer County (Newbern, TN), 55-0, in a league game.
