The Weld Central Rebels softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Fort Lupton Bluedevils to 2 in the Rebels non-league win on Wednesday.

The Rebels now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Platte Valley for a 3A Patriot battle on Thursday, September 18. Weld Central will confront a Broncos team coming off a 5-0 league loss to Lyons (Lyons, CO). The Broncos record now stands at 6-8.

The Bluedevils (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Alameda (Lakewood, CO). The Pirates go into the 4A/3A Frontier test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Alameda toppled Jefferson (Edgewater, CO), 13-2, in a league test.
