In Wednesday's league bout, the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) volleyball team knocked off the visiting L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders (Macomb, MI), by a margin of 3-0.

The Blue Devils now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lowell for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 20. Grosse Pointe South will clash with a Red Arrows team coming off a 3-0 league win over Cedar Springs (Cedar Springs, MI). The Red Arrows record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, L'Anse Creuse North drops to 12-5 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI) to confront the Tars in a Macomb Area - Red match on Tuesday, September 23.
