Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting South County Stallions (Lorton, VA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Herndon improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Hornets travel to George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA) to face the Statesmen in a Liberty test on Thursday, September 19. The Statesmen go into the test with a record of 1-6. George C. Marshall won 3-2 in their recent league test against Langley (McLean, VA)

The Stallions now own a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robinson for a Patriot test on Monday, September 23. South County will face a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Rams record now stands at 1-5.
