September 18, 2024: Norborne, MO 64668 In Wednesday's non-league test, the Knob Noster Panthers (Knob Noster, MO) softball squad overwhelmed the host Norborne Pirates (Norborne, MO), by a tally of 18-3.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO) in a Class 2 District 8 test, on Thursday, September 19. Knob Noster will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Huskers go into the test with a 4-7 record after their 8-2 non-league win over St. Michael the Archangel (Lee's Summit, MO).
The Pirates (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Tina-Avalon (Tina, MO). The Dragons go into the Class 1 District 13 test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Tina-Avalon was routed by Schuyler County (Lancaster, MO), 7-6, in a non-league test.
