Missouri High School Softball - Knob Noster bounces Lexington
October 3, 2024: Lexington, MO 64067 The Knob Noster Panthers softball team scored 19 runs and held the host Lexington Minutemen to 0 in the Panthers non-league win on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lafayette County for a Class 2 District 8 battle on Tuesday, October 8. Knob Noster will confront a Huskers team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Summit Christian Academy (Lee's Summit, MO). The Huskers record now stands at 6-16.
With the loss, Lexington moves to 5-17 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Carrollton (Carrollton, MO) to battle the Trojans in a Class 2 District 15 match on Tuesday, October 8. The Trojans go into the match with a record of 18-0.
