Pennsylvania High School Football - Riverside smashes Montrose
September 18, 2025: Montrose, PA 18801 The Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA) football trounced the host Montrose Meteors (Montrose, PA), 60-6 in Thursday's league outing.
The Vikings now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Susquehanna for a non-league game on Saturday, September 27. Riverside will battle a Sabers team coming off a 42-7 non-league loss to Lakeland (Jermyn, PA). The Sabers record now stands at 0-5.
The Meteors (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Carbondale Area (Carbondale, PA). The Chargers enter the Lackawanna 3 game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Carbondale Area was trounced by Dunmore (Dunmore, PA), 43-14, in a non-league bout.
