The Centura Centurions (Cairo, NE) softball overwhelmed the visiting Ord Chanticleers (Ord, NE), 10-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

Next, the Centurions meet the Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 19. Centura will attempt to advance on its 14-5 season record. The Bearcats go into the test with a 9-8 record after their 5-3 league win over Gering (Gering, NE).

With the loss, Ord moves to 5-14 on the season. The Chanticleers travel to O'Neill (O'Neill, NE) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 20.
