The Crystal Lake South Gators volleyball squad (Crystal Lake, IL), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Jacobs Golden Eagles (Algonquin, IL)

With the win, Jacobs moves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Golden Eagles host Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL) to meet the Scouts in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 20.
