Illinois High School Volleyball - Metea Valley can't hold off Nazareth Academy

The Nazareth Academy Roadrunners held off the visiting Metea Valley Mustangs volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Roadrunners now possess a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to St. Francis for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 23. Nazareth Academy will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 2-1 league win over Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 12-3.

With the loss, Metea Valley drops to 12-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Minooka (Minooka, IL) to battle the Indians in a non-league match on Saturday, September 20. The Indians enter the match with a record of 10-6. Minooka won 2-0 in their recent league match against Oswego East (Oswego, IL)
