Illinois High School Volleyball - Geneva over Metea Valley

In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Geneva Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Metea Valley Mustangs.

The Vikings (15-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Normal Community (Normal, IL). The Ironmen enter the non-league challenge with a 23-4 record. In their last challenge, Normal Community beat Urbana (Urbana, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL) in a test, on Thursday, October 16. Metea Valley will attempt to improve on its 13-18 season record. The Huskies go into the test with a 18-9 record after their 2-1 league loss to Naperville Central (Naperville, IL).
