Illinois High School Volleyball - Metea Valley can't get by Naperville Central

The Naperville Central Redhawks nudged the visiting Metea Valley Mustangs volleyball team by a tally of 2-1 in Thursday's league outing.

The Redhawks now have a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Geneva for a non-league outing on Monday, October 6. Naperville Central will play a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 league win over Batavia (Batavia, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 12-13.

With the loss, Metea Valley moves to 12-13 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Lyons (LaGrange, IL) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Monday, October 6. The Lions go into the game with a record of 15-7. Lyons won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL)
