Illinois High School Volleyball - Metea Valley edged by Waubonsie Valley

October 9, 2025: Aurora, IL 60502

Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), 2-1 in a league challenge.

The Warriors (12-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Rosary (Aurora, IL). The Royals come into the non-league challenge with a 3-18 record. In their last challenge, Rosary edged Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) in a test, on Tuesday, October 14. Metea Valley will attempt to advance on its 13-16 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 17-13 record after their 2-0 league loss to Naperville Central (Naperville, IL).
