Georgia High School Softball - Brunswick holds off Glynn Academy
September 19, 2022: Brunswick, GA 31520 Brunswick Pirates (Brunswick, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Glynn Academy Terrors (Brunswick, GA), 3-1 in a league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 3-13 record. They take the field next when they host Glynn Academy for a 6A Region 2 challenge on Thursday, September 22. Brunswick will battle a Terrors squad coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Charlton County (Folkston, GA). The Terrors record now stands at 8-10.
With the loss, Glynn Academy falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Terrors host Charlton County (Folkston, GA) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 21. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 6-5. Charlton County won 17-2 in their recent league challenge against Atkinson County (Pearson, GA)
