South Carolina High School Volleyball - Monroe overwhelmed by Central

In Monday's non-league battle, the host Central Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Monroe Redhawks.

The Eagles (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against York Prep (Rock Hill, SC). The Patriots come into the AA Region 5 battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, York Prep defeated Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Redhawks encounter the Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A battle, on Tuesday, September 20. Monroe will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record.
