Maryland High School Soccer - Allegany nudges Mountain Ridge

Allegany Campers (Cumberland, MD) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Campers face the Frankfort Falcons (Ridgeley, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Allegany will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record.

The Miners now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southern for a Appalachian challenge on Thursday, September 21. Mountain Ridge will face a Rams team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Northern (Accident, MD). The Rams record now stands at 2-3.
