California High School Volleyball - Academy for Academic Excellence over Big Bear

September 19, 2023: Apple Valley, CA 92307

Academy for Academic Excellence Knights (Apple Valley, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Big Bear Bears (Big Bear City, CA), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Knights battle the University Prep Jaguars (Victorville, CA) in a Cross Valley match, on Thursday, September 21. Academy for Academic Excellence will attempt to advance on its 9-2 season record. The Jaguars come into the match with a 8-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Riverside Prep (Oro Grande, CA).

With the loss, Big Bear drops to 13-9 on the campaign. The Bears host Excelsior Charter (Victorville, CA) to battle the Eagles in a Cross Valley match on Thursday, September 21. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 14-4. Excelsior Charter won 3-0 in their recent league match against Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy (Victorville, CA)
