Virginia High School Volleyball - Floyd County tips Carroll County
September 19, 2024: Floyd, VA 24091 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) and the visiting Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA), observed Floyd County's volleyball team hold off Carroll County by a count of 2-1.
The Buffaloes (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Grayson County was tipped by Auburn (Riner, VA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Cavaliers battle the Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 23. Carroll County will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 5-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA).
