September 5, 2024: Floyd, VA 24091 Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Floyd County improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to James River (Buchanan, VA) to face the Knights in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Knights go into the test with a record of 2-2.
The Cougars now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cave Spring for a test on Tuesday, September 10. Pulaski County will face a Knights squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Knights record now stands at 3-0.
