North Carolina High School Volleyball - Currituck County can't hold off First Flight

In Thursday's league match, the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) volleyball squad tipped the host Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Nighthawks confront the Cape Hatteras Hurricanes (Buxton, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 23. First Flight will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Hurricanes enter the match with a 6-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Hobgood Charter (Hobgood, NC).

The Knights (3-8) will now prepare for their match against Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC). The Bears enter the Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A match with a 3-7 record.
