North Carolina High School Volleyball - Perquimans over Currituck County

September 11, 2024: Barco, NC 27917

In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Perquimans Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Currituck County Knights.

The Pirates (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Gates County (Gatesville, NC). The Red Barons enter the Four Rivers 1A challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Gates County was beaten by Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Knights meet the Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Currituck County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Manteo (Manteo, NC).
