North Carolina High School Football - Chambers edged by Ardrey Kell

The Ardrey Kell Knights edged the host Chambers Cougars football team by a score of 16-10 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights face the Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) in a Southwestern 7A/8A challenge, on Friday, October 3. Ardrey Kell will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Pumas come into the outing with a 3-2 record after their 27-20 non-league loss to Independence (Charlotte, NC).

With the defeat, Chambers drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Butler (Matthews, NC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Meck Power Six 7A/8A outing on Friday, September 26. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 2-3. Butler lost 27-21 in their recent non-league outing against Providence (Charlotte, NC)
