Canton Tigers (Canton, MS) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Forest Hill Patriots (Jackson, MS), 26-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Canton improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Tigers host Holmes County Central (Lexington, MS) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league test on Friday, September 26. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 3-1. Holmes County Central won 50-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Murrah (Jackson, MS)

The Patriots (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lanier (Jackson, MS). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Lanier topped Raymond (Raymond, MS), 42-8, in a non-league test.
