September 19, 2025: Woodstock, GA 30188 The Lanier Christian Academy Lightning (Flowery Branch, GA) football were winner over the host Cherokee Christian Warriors (Woodstock, GA), 31-7 in Friday's league outing.
The Lightning now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Rock Springs Christian Academy for a GAPPS Division 1 outing on Friday, September 26. Lanier Christian Academy will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 46-15 league win over Skipstone Academy (Griffin, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-0.
With the defeat, Cherokee Christian drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Dominion Christian (Marietta, GA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, October 3. The Knights enter the contest with a record of 2-3. Dominion Christian won 27-6 in their recent non-league bout against Cross Keys (Atlanta, GA)
