The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Eagle Rock Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA), witnessed Eagle Rock's football squad wallop Taft by a count of 56-21.

The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Marquez (Huntington Park, CA). The Gladiators enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Marquez crushed La Puente (La Puente, CA), 55-12, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Toreadors confront the Granada Hills Charter Highlanders (Granada Hills, CA) in a West Valley battle, on Friday, October 3. Taft will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Highlanders go into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 35-25 non-league win over Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA).
