The John Bapst Memorial Crusaders football squad scored 41 points and limited the host Mattanawcook Lynx to 7 in the Crusaders league triumph on Friday.

The Crusaders now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Winslow for a D North test on Saturday, September 27. John Bapst Memorial will face a Black Raiders team coming off a 47-7 non-league win over Freeport (Freeport, ME). The Black Raiders record now stands at 2-0.

The Lynx (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Belfast (Belfast, ME). The Lions go into the D North challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Belfast was overwhelmed by Maranacook (Readfield, ME), 56-34, in a league test.
