The Page Pirates football squad scored 47 points and limited the visiting Southern Guilford Storm to 0 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dudley for a Metro 6A/7A test on Friday, September 26. Page will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 34-18 league win over Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Southern Guilford drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Storm host Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC) to meet the Rams in a TAAC Six 5A/6A challenge on Friday, October 3. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Northeast Guilford won 18-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Southern School of Energy and Sustainability (Durham, NC)
