The Ragsdale Tigers football squad (Jamestown, NC), was nudged 32-26 in Friday's league contest with the host Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC)

The Pirates (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Cowboys enter the Metro 6A/7A contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Southwest Guilford was nudged by Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 54-20, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 6A/7A contest, on Friday, October 10. Ragsdale will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Whirlies enter the contest with a 6-0 record after their 21-14 non-league win over Varina (Richmond, VA).
