The Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC) football were winner over the visiting Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles (Greensboro, NC), 20-6 in Friday's league outing.

The Tigers now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Western Guilford for a Metro 6A/7A game on Friday, October 24. Ragsdale will battle a Hornets team coming off a 41-3 league loss to Dudley (Greensboro, NC). The Hornets record now stands at 5-3.

The Golden Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Page (Greensboro, NC). The Pirates come into the Metro 6A/7A outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Page was knocked off by Grimsley (Greensboro, NC), 48-14, in a league outing.
