The Pius X Thunderbolts edged the visiting Platteview Trojans football team by a score of 19-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Thunderbolts face the Norris Titans (Firth, NE) in a B District 3 challenge, on Friday, September 26. Pius X will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 31-7 non-league win over Blair (Blair, NE).

The Trojans (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Ralston (Ralston, NE). The Rams come into the B District 2 outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Ralston was nipped by Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE), 54-21, in a non-league outing.
