Kentucky High School Volleyball - Caldwell County can't hold off Carlisle County
September 19, 2025: Bardwell, KY 42023 In Friday's non-league match, the Carlisle County Comets (Bardwell, KY) volleyball team held off the visiting Caldwell County Tigers (Princeton, KY), by a margin of 2-1.
The Comets now possess a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to Ohio County for a non-league bout on Friday, September 19. Carlisle County will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Hancock County (Lewisport, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 6-12.
With the loss, Caldwell County drops to 8-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY) to clash with the Storm in a District 7 bout on Saturday, September 20. The Storm come into the bout with a record of 1-11. Hopkins County Central lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against McLean County (Calhoun, KY)
