The Montrose Meteors volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Scranton Knights to 0 in the Meteors league triumph on Friday.

The Meteors now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Tunkhannock for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 20. Montrose will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Scranton drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Tournament Opponent (, ) to play the in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 20.
