In Thursday's league battle, the Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) volleyball squad toppled the host Montrose Meteors (Montrose, PA), by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Abington Heights improves its record to 17-0 on the season. The Comets travel to Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA) to encounter the Wolfpack in a non-league battle on Monday, September 29. The Wolfpack go into the battle with a record of 3-3. Wilkes-Barre won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA)

The Meteors now own a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elk Lake for a Lackawanna battle on Tuesday, September 30. Montrose will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-9.
