In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Northwest Christian Crusaders volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Valley Vista Monsoon.

The Crusaders (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ). The Hawks enter the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Buckeye gained a win over Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ), 3-0, in a league test.

The Monsoon now sport a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Point for a 6A - West Valley test on Tuesday, September 23. Valley Vista will face a Dragons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Cibola (Yuma, AZ). The Dragons record now stands at 1-6.
