In Friday's league match, the host Central Red Devils football squad scored a good 34-21 victory over the Enterprise Wildcats.

The Red Devils (5-0) will now prepare for their match against IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL). The Ascenders enter the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, IMG Academy thwarted Mandarin (Jacksonville, FL), 49-6, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Carver Montgomery Wolverines (Montgomery, AL) in a 7A Region 2 match, on Friday, October 4. Enterprise will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Wolverines enter the match with a 5-0 record after their 35-28 league win over Dothan (Dothan, AL).
