The Mingus Marauders walloped the host Copper Canyon Aztecs football team by a score of 39-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Marauders face the Deer Valley Skyhawks (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 27. Mingus will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Skyhawks go into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 40-12 non-league win over La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ).
