In Saturday's non-league contest, the Salem Wildcats (Salem, IL) soccer team routed the host Massac County Patriots (Metropolis, IL), by a tally of 7-2.

Next, the Wildcats face the Columbia Eagles (Columbia, IL) in a Cahokia (Mississippi Division) contest, on Tuesday, September 23. Salem will attempt to advance on its 11-1 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 10-4 record after their 12-0 league win over East Alton-Wood River (Wood River, IL).
