Duchesne Cardinals (Omaha, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cardinals (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 8-3 record.

Next, the Eagles meet the Cornerstone Christian School Cougars (Bellevue, NE) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 20. Omaha Central will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 7-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Omaha Christian (Omaha, NE).
