In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Ord Chanticleers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the High Plains Storm.

The Chanticleers (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Central City (Central City, NE). The Bison go into the non-league test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Central City nudged Aquinas (David City, NE), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Storm now sport a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Elba for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 23. High Plains will play a Bluejays team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Wallace (Wallace, NE). The Bluejays record now stands at 6-4.
