In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Rosary Royals volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Lemont Lemont HS.

The Royals (1-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 6-10 record. In their last test, Plainfield North was edged by Joliet West (Joliet, IL), 2-0, in a league test.

The Lemont HS now own a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host IC Catholic Prep for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Lemont will face a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Knights record now stands at 5-8.
