The Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls held off the visiting Hopewell Titans volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Ragin' Bulls now have a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to A.L. Brown for a Greater Metro 4A test on Thursday, September 22. Hickory Ridge will confront a Wonders team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Concord (Concord, NC). The Wonders record now stands at 3-10.

The Titans (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Mavericks enter the Queen City 3A/4A test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Mallard Creek held off West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
