Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL), 2-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Sages clash with the Arthur Knights (Arthur, IL) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 25. Monticello will attempt to advance on its 13-4 season record.

With the loss, St. Thomas More drops to 11-7 on the campaign. The Sabers travel to Sullivan (Sullivan, IL) to clash with the Redskins in a non-league match on Friday, September 22.
