Illinois High School Volleyball - Bloomington Central Catholic tips St. Thomas More

October 12, 2023: Bloomington, IL 61704

Bloomington Central Catholic Saints (Bloomington, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL), 2-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Saints clash with the Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 13. Bloomington Central Catholic will attempt to advance on its 20-6 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 13-14 record after their 2-1 league loss to Manteno (Manteno, IL).

With the loss, St. Thomas More drops to 18-10 on the campaign. The Sabers host Cerro Gordo/Bement (Cerro Gordo, IL) to clash with the Broncos in a non-league match on Saturday, October 14. The Broncos come into the match with a record of 22-5. Cerro Gordo/Bement lost 2-1 in their recent league match against Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL)
