September 21, 2024: Maumee, OH 43537 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Eastwood Eagles football squad scored a close 27-22 victory over the Maumee Panthers.
The Eagles (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Rossford (Rossford, OH). The Bulldogs enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Rossford was nudged by Otsego (Tontogany, OH), 20-8, in a non-league outing.
With the defeat, Maumee drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Lake (Millbury, OH) to clash with the Flyers in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 28. The Flyers come into the outing with a record of 0-2. Lake lost 55-0 in their recent non-league outing against Eastwood (Pemberville, OH)
