Missouri High School Softball - Lee's Summit sneaks past Joplin
September 21, 2024: Joplin, MO 64804 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Lee's Summit Tigers softball team scored a tight 3-2 win over the Joplin Eagles.
The Tigers (11-8) will now prepare for their match against Blue Springs South (Blue Springs, MO). The Jaguars come into the non-league match with a 14-5 record. In their last match, Blue Springs South nipped Chrisman (Independence, MO), 14-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Seneca Indians (Seneca, MO) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 23. Joplin will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 4-8 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Joplin (Joplin, MO).
