Missouri High School Softball - Joplin gets by Webb City
October 14, 2024: Webb City, MO 64870 In Monday's league match, the visiting Joplin Eagles softball team scored a tight 12-11 victory over the Webb City Cardinals.
The Eagles (16-13) will now prepare for their match against Neosho (Neosho, MO). The Wildcats go into the Class 4 District 12 match with a 17-13 record. In their last match, Neosho was nipped by Nixa (Nixa, MO), 3-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Lee's Summit Tigers (Lee's Summit, MO) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 17. Webb City will attempt to better on its 22-12 season record. The Tigers go into the match with a 16-19 record after their 12-3 league win over Belton (Belton, MO).
