In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host James River Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Franklin County Eagles.

The Knights (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Salem (Salem, VA). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Salem was beaten by Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.
