Virginia High School Volleyball - James River tips Salem
September 21, 2024: Buchanan, VA 24066 The James River Knights volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Salem Spartans to 1 in the Knights non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Knights now have a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Radford for a Three Rivers outing on Tuesday, September 24. James River will play a Bobcats team coming off a 3-1 league win over Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Salem drops to 10-3 on the campaign. The Spartans host Glass (Lynchburg, VA) to play the Hilltoppers in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 21. The Hilltoppers come into the outing with a record of 6-1. Glass lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA)
